Deputy Mayor / Councilmember John McCann launched his Mayoral campaign for his hometown of Chula Vista, pledging to continue the fight to protect taxpayers and reform city government to protect and improve the city's quality of life.
"Chula Vista is my hometown. In this challenging economy, we need leaders who will put public safety, jobs, economic development and reform at the top of the city's agenda," said McCann, who previously served four times as Deputy Mayor and four terms on the city council. "Protecting taxpayers, prioritizing public safety, and concentrating on neighborhood quality of life issues are key to service on the council, and I'm looking forward to the opportunity to continue working for an even stronger Chula Vista."
